By the time fall hits, I’m craving something that tastes like the season: apple cider, warm spices, and all things cozy. Whether you’re mixing drinks for friends or just that pairs well with sweatpants and binge-watching, these fall non-alcoholic cocktails deliver. They bring all the crisp apple flavor and autumn vibes without the next-day regret. Because honestly, who needs a hangover when there’s pie for breakfast?
Shoulder Season
A little smoky and a little sweet. It's the cocktail version of hanging by the fireplace.
Ingredients:
2 oz Smoky No. 56
2 oz apple cider
Instructions: Stir ingredients in a glass, serve over ice, and garnish with a sliced apple. Voilà! It’s like taking a walk through an apple orchard without leaving your kitchen.
The Pathfinder Spritz
This one’s for all you spritz lovers who aren’t ready to give up the bubbly just because it’s fall. It’s crisp, refreshing, and a little earthy...basically, a spritz that wears flannel.
Ingredients:
½ oz lemon juice
Seltzer to top
Lemon slice for garnish
Instructions: Combine The Pathfinder and lemon juice in a Collins glass over ice, top with seltzer, and garnish with a lemon slice.
Spiced Hard Cider (The N/A Way)
Cider, but make it fancy. This drink makes you feel like you’ve got your life together, even if you’re still figuring out Halloween costumes.
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz Honeycrisp Simple Syrup, recipe below
Crushed ice
Thin slices of Honeycrisp apple + pomegranate seeds for garnish
Instructions: In a glass filled with crushed ice, combine spiced rum and Honeycrisp Simple Syrup. Top with non-alcoholic hard cider, gently stir and garnish with apple slices and pomegranate seeds.
Honeycrisp Simple Syrup Recipe
This syrup is the MVP of fall drinks. Sweet, spiced, and so easy to make, you’ll want to drizzle it on everything.
Ingredients:
1 cup Honeycrisp apple slices
1 cup water
½ cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp cloves
pinch of nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick
Instructions: Simmer apple slices, water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves and the apples soften. Strain into a jar and let cool. Store in the fridge. You can use it to sweeten all your favorite drinks.
A sober fall doesn’t have to be boring, and these non-alcoholic cocktails prove it. This lineup gives you everything from smoky cider vibes to spritzes with a twist...something here for everyone. So grab your friends, gather around the fire, and sip your way through the season.
